The Eliot at Troy - Medication Room Supervisor (LPN) Location: The Eliot at TroyPosition Type: Full-TimePay Range: $30–$35/hour Position Summary The Medication Room Supervisor (LPN) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the medication room, ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant medication administration for residents. This role supervises medication aides and nursing staff, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports high-quality resident care. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage all medication room operations and staff Ensure accurate medication administration in accordance with physician orders and facility policies Monitor medication storage, labeling, and documentation for compliance with state and federal regulations Conduct regular audits of medication records (MARs) and controlled substances Train, mentor, and evaluate medication aides and nursing staff Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain inventory and order medications and supplies as needed Address medication-related incidents and implement corrective actions Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York State Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience (long-term care or assisted living preferred) Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of medication administration and regulatory standards Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Work Schedule Full-time position Flexible scheduling (including weekends/holidays as needed) Benefits (if applicable) Competitive hourly pay ($30–$35/hour) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
