Overview:Role is responsible for costume character appearances and maintaining character integrity. Entertainment Characters are required to interact with guests, Team Members, and supervisors on a daily basis. Additionally, Entertainment Characters are required to continuously work outdoors and closely with others. Characters occasionally will work alone and will always be exposed to direct sunlight, dust, dirt, and water. Character must be able to function in all weather conditions including extreme heat for long periods of time.Pay Rate: $17.50 per hourResponsibilities:Must be able to promote the park with the utmost enthusiasm and pride.Will make costumed appearances as seen necessary by department management/standardsPerform your character in accordance with Warner Brothers GuidelinesMaintain illusion of costume charactersWill provide needed daily care and upkeep to costumed characters outfits and accessoriesMust swipe in and out each day to receive correct pay for the weekMaintain proper attendanceMust be on time for all character setsEnsure guest safety and satisfaction in their stay at Six FlagsEnsure standards of performance for all areas within their responsibilities are metMaintain a clean working environment both in guest view and behind the scenesResolve guest concerns that may arise on a daily basisRespond to any emergency situation in the area and maintain control until an area supervisor arrivesEnsure that image, cleanliness and courtesy standards are metRefrain from consuming any substance that may impair judgmentCooperate with all team members and managersComplete any and all tasks as requested by Six Flags ManagementQualifications:At least 16 years of ageAble to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentSafety consciousOutgoing and friendly demeanorWilling to actively engage guestsMust be able to perform in 15-30 lb. costumeMust have excellent customer service skillsAble to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English languageAvailable to work flexible hours at nights and on weekendsRequires continuous sitting, standing, bending, hand/eye coordination, near vision, hearing and speech.
