The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing specialty care team in Tampa, Florida. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our nation's Veterans within one of the largest and most advanced Veterans Affairs medical centers in the country.Our physicians practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with access to modern facilities, advanced endoscopy services, and strong support staff while enjoying the stability and benefits of a federal career.Position HighlightsProvide comprehensive gastroenterology care for Veterans, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of digestive disordersPerform endoscopic procedures such as upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and other advanced GI proceduresManage conditions including liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, GI bleeding, GERD, and malignanciesCollaborate with surgery, oncology, radiology, and primary care teamsParticipate in quality improvement, education, and clinical initiativesQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certified or Board Eligible in GastroenterologyCompletion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowshipEligible for unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territoryU.S. citizenship required for VA appointment
