Job SummaryWith a patient centered culture, the Application Analyst will provide a positive experience to CUSTOMERS/PATIENTS/COMMUNITY through providing functional support and implementation support of the hospital revenue cycle applications. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: supporting application users and assisting in the implementation of revenue cycle applications.ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and Solution DefinitionQuickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry. Identifies the organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement. Develops or oversees the development of system documentation, user manuals and training classes for application suite. Creates and maintains detailed test plans and scripts. Participates in testing efforts and ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Project ExecutionTakes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback. Executes assigned project tasks in accordance with project schedule. Expertise in the use of a clinical EMR application as a super user or IT support analyst. Proven ability to understand business and clinical issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into application solutions. Exposure to software application flows and database structures or system design. Understands Internet, Intranet and client/server architectures. Good communication skills.
