Job Overview The Pharmacy Quality, Accreditation & Patient Safety Manager serves as a key leader in advancing Fairview Pharmacy Services' commitment to high reliability care, regulatory excellence, and continuous improvement. This role oversees pharmacy accreditation and patient safety initiatives, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while fostering a culture of safety across the pharmacy enterprise. The manager partners closely with operational, quality, and safety leaders to analyze risk, interpret data, implement improvement strategies, and maintain continuous survey readiness. Through Fairview Pharmacy Services-level collaboration, this position strengthens organizational accountability, enhances patient outcomes, and supports the deliver of safe, high quality pharmacy services Responsibilities * Lead pharmacy quality, patient safety, and accreditation efforts by integrating ongoing regulatory compliance into Fairview Pharmacy Services (FPS) opaerations according to accreditation standards. * Collaborate with pharmacy leaders, safety, quality, and operations teams to reduce risk, enhance processes, and promote a safe, reliable care environment across FPS. * Act as the FPS representative on the System Regulatory Team, coordianate onsite survey activities, and manage accreditation tasks including applications, renewals, tracer development, and staff training in collaboration with operational leaders to maintain readiness and compliance. * Collaborate with organizational leaders to perform gap analyses and to develop, implement, and sustain post-survey corrective action plans that align with accreditation standards and support continuous improvement. * Apply data analytics and performance improvement methodologies to the analysis of department-level and FPS roll-up patient safety event data to identify trends, themes, and risk areas. Partners with department and pharmacy leadership to develop and support improvemnte initiatives informed by patient safety events and learning. * Represent FPS on system leve quality, safety, and emergency management committees, parntering with interdisciplinary leaders to advance a culture of safety, strengthen accountability, and improve patient outcomes across the pharmacy enterprise. * Promot Patent Safety Science principles, including Just Culture and High Reliability concepts, in collaboration with leaders and frontline teams. * Performs other duties as assigned * Complies with all policies and standards Qualifications Required * BS/BA in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related healthcare field * 5 years of progressive experience in pharmacy operations, quality, accreditation, patient safety, or related healthcare field * 5 year of demonstarted experience supporting accreditation surveys, regulatory compliance activities, or quality improvement programs within and healthcare setting Preferred * An advanced degree is preferred, such as a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), a Master's Degree (e.g Health Administration, Public Health), or another relevant advanced degree. * Experience leading cross-functional, interdisciplinary, or system-level initiatives.
