By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures.Provide EHS training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, lockout/tagout, and emergency response.Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal.Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.Lead emergency response efforts and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related scientific field.3-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Proven ability to conduct EHS training, incident investigations, and risk assessments.Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Bonus QualificationsExperience with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 management systemsProficiency in data analysis and EHS software platformsDemonstrated ability to lead and conduct EHS training programsProfessional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMMJob Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, Health and Safety Officer, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, Safety and Environmental Compliance Officer, EHS Coordinator, Health & Safety Consultant, Workplace Safety SpecialistWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
