By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify hazards and assess risks.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.Provide EHS training to employees on various topics, including hazard communication, LOTO, and emergency response.Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal.Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation, including permits, training logs, and incident reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.3+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and training.Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation methodologies.Bonus QualificationsExperience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systemsProfessional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMMFamiliarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principlesProficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera)Job Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, Health and Safety Officer, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, Workplace Safety Specialist, H&S Specialist, HSE Coordinator, Safety and Environmental Compliance OfficerWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
