Position Highlights Position Summary The Radiology Technologist supports department coverage by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols. Position Highlights * PRN coverage based on department needs * Required participation in on-call rotation (evenings, weekends, and holidays) * Small department with opportunity to work independently Qualifications Required * Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program OR * Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program * Must be eligible for ARRT certification Preferred CT certification and/or experience Responsibilities * Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols * Ensure quality imaging and patient safety * Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams * Follow radiation safety and infection control standards * Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS * Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided * Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care Additional Expectations * Maintain competency through continuing education * Support department workflow and coverage needs Provide patient-centered care in a team environment
