This position offers an opportunity to perform as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy environment located in Columbus, OH. The role is a 13-week temp-to-hire assignment, providing a clear pathway to direct hire for the right candidate. Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Environment and Team: Retail pharmacy setting with an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 per day Supportive team including 5 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacists Utilization of Prime RX software for order entry Key Responsibilities: Accurately review and dispense prescription medications Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication use and safety Qualifications and Desired Experience: Proven retail pharmacy experience Familiarity with Prime RX software considered a plus Possession of an active Ohio pharmacy technician license Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing significant prescription volume This role is ideal for proactive pharmacists seeking a retail position that leads to permanent employment.
