Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - RadiographerLocation: Elmhurst, NYType: ContractPay Rate: Travel Rate: $ 2,899 per weekLocal Rate: $ 2,325 per weekPosition Overview:Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Elmhurst, NY.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic radiographic exams (X rays, portable studies, and basic fluoroscopy) in a high volume acute care setting, following ALARA principles and established protocols.Operate fixed and mobile radiographic equipment safely, including proper positioning, exposure selection, and troubleshooting image quality issues.Process and upload images into PACS, verify correct patient identifiers and exam codes, and flag studies requiring immediate review.Support emergency and trauma imaging by responding to STAT calls, including bedside and ER studies, while maintaining radiation safety and infection control standards.Enter exam details, consent documentation, and technical notes into the hospital EMR (including EPIC) in a timely, accurate manner.Assist with contrast related procedures when applicable, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and coordinate with radiologists and nursing staff as needed Key Requirements:Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology training program.Current ARRT certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist.Valid NYSDOH license as a Radiologic Technologist issued in New York.Prior experience in an acute care/hospital setting required.Schedule: 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM shift, with alternating weekends; weekends and holidays required.Training: 2 weeks of training (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM), including EPIC EMR training class.Interviews will be conducted in person.For more details contact athdavda@or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
