American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring CT and X-ray competency, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active CA license.Job Details• Community hospital setting in a CT Scan unit,• Performs both CT and X-ray imaging,• 4x10 hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required,• Active CA state license required (license required if applicable),• ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred,• BLS certification required; must be AHA or American Red Cross,• All certifications must be in hand at time of consideration,• Proficiency in CT image display and post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurement,• Experience with CT imaging across modalities including head/neck, spine, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and vascular studies,• Proficiency with contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and radiation safety protocols,• Epic EMR experience preferred,• 2 supervisor references from within the last year required for consideration,• 7-year work history verification required,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,Additional Information• Perform CT and X-ray imaging including brain, head/neck, spine, chest, abdomen/pelvis, vascular, and cardiac studies,• Preferred experience includes 3D rendering techniques (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), coronary CTA, cardiac calcium scoring, enterography, and image-guided procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, and drainage,• GE and Philips equipment experience preferred,• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted,• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract,• Orientation includes module completion via e-learning; module hours vary by specialty,• Scrub color or dress code not specified
