Key Qualifications: Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing or eligibility in Arizona In-depth understanding of DHH student needs, accommodations, and best practices Skill in implementing and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families Previous experience supporting DHH students in a school or itinerant setting is highly valued Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction and support for DHH students in both individual and group settings Develop, write, and manage IEPs and progress reports for assigned students Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student's goals, abilities, and accommodations Consult regularly with classroom teachers and staff to support student inclusion and success Coordinate scheduling and caseload coverage with the on-site full-time DHH teacher to ensure seamless service throughout the district Take pride in helping students access their education and reach their full potential.
