Baptist Health is hiring a Referrals Coordinator for our Primary Care department at Baptist Brooklyn, located in Riverside in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.As the Referrals Coordinator, you will primarily interact with staff, patients, internal departments, physician practices and insurance companies to obtain maximum reimbursement through established authorization procedures and order entry. You will be responsible for securing medication authorizations, infusion authorizations, and injectable authorizations for two providers. You will work and communicate with the Provider's team to enable minimal turnaround times for patient care. This position requires a candidate who has previous referrals and healthcare experience, as well as excellent customer service skills.
