In this critical role, you will provide advanced anesthesia services supporting a Care Team model with a 4:1 patient-to-staff ratio. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care for individuals aged 12 and above in a tertiary hospital setting. With flexible scheduling options, including day shifts and optional overnight/weekend shifts, this position offers both variety and stability. Required Skills: Current MN RN license and Certification as a Registered Nurse AnesthetistMinimum of 1 year anesthesia experienceCertification in ACLS/BLS Tier 2 or higher upon hireProficiency with Epic EMRAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work 2 consecutive weeks per month, with a minimum of 36 hours per week during initial three monthsNice to Have Skills: Experience with specialized procedures; note CRNAs do not perform blocks, A-lines, epidurals, or spinalsPrior experience in a tertiary care or Level III facilityInterest in occasional overnight or on-call shifts for additional compensationPreferred Education and Experience: Bachelor s degree or higher in NursingAt least 1 year of anesthesia practice in a hospital settingWillingness to credential within 90-120 daysOther Requirements: Must reside at least 50 miles from Abbott Northwestern (MN is not a compact state)Complete Skills checklist upon submissionAbility to manage or participate in occasional beeper call on weekends and weeknightsWillingness to support specialized patient care procedures as neededEnjoy an hourly pay rate of $218.59, with opportunities for overtime pay ($1.5x rate), holiday pay, and on-call bonuses. Work a variety of shifts, including 8, 10, and 12 hours, with schedules starting as early as 6:30 AM. The contract is ongoing, starting ASAP, with initial 4-month commitments and potential for longer term or flexible scheduling after the initial period.
