Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Make a Difference in Patient Care We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to support critical access hospitals in Tyrone and Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Immediate openings are available starting April 20, 2026, for 6-month contracts with potential for extension. What You'll Do: Provide anesthesia care for a variety of procedures, including general, ortho, ophthalmology, gyn, ENT, and plastic surgery. Support adult patients, with potential pediatric cases for ENT (pediatric anesthesiologist present for pediatrics). Work predominantly solo in Tyrone with non-medically directed anesthesia; collaborate with an anesthesiologist in Huntingdon. Manage less than 20 patients per day, ensuring quality and individualized patient care. Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation. Support 2-3 shifts per week, with flexible scheduling options. Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience or at least 1 year working independently. Board Certification in Nurse Anesthesia. Current and valid state licensure. BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience with regional anesthesia techniques (spinals, nerve blocks) is preferred but not mandatory. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in pediatric anesthesia. Familiarity with Cerner EMR. Ability to adapt quickly to diverse procedural environments. Preferred Education and Experience: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia. Proven track record of independent anesthesia practice in a hospital setting. Other Requirements: Valid state license to practice as a CRNA. No DEA or CSR certifications required. Willingness to work shifts at Tyrone and Huntingdon locations. Ability to travel to Pittsburgh for paid airfare, rental, and hotel accommodations when necessary. Availability for day shifts (7:00 am - 5:00 pm) with overtime pay for holidays at 1.5x the regular rate. Compensation: Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50 Additional Pay: $412.50 per hour for overtime, holiday pay at 1.5x, travel reimbursements when applicable.
