Position Overview The Area Director is a critical role in overseeing the operations and profitability of 4-8 restaurant & brewpub  locations within an assigned area. This leader ensures consistent execution of brand standards, drives sales and profitability through community connection, and supports General Managers in building strong teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a commitment of 50+ hours per week and a hands-on leadership approach. Some nights and weekends are required to support your locations.  Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Provide direction, coaching, and support to General Managers Ensure consistent execution of operational standards and procedures Drive sales growth and profitability through strategic planning and cost control Analyze financial performance and implement action plans Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing management teams Build strong leadership pipelines and foster accountability Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand guidelines Maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and consistency Monitor guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly Implement initiatives that elevate hospitality and satisfaction Oversee inventory levels, food costs, and waste control Manage forecasting, scheduling, overtime, and staffing needs Review Budgets and weekly sales with management team Conduct audits for cleaning, sanitation, schedules, line checks and all other taproom and restaurant management Work with GM's and coordinate with marketing to execute local promotions and community initiatives that incorporate beer/cider releases and promotional events Build and develop relationships within our communities Track KPIs and operational metrics Identify trends, address gaps, and drive continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field (preferred) Proven multi-unit restaurant management experience (casual dining preferred, brewpub a plus) Strong leadership skills with experience developing teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Must reside in Colorado and be within driving distance of assigned locations Beer Server certifications or higher Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills An strong aptitude for multi-tasking and problem solving Exceptional understanding of customer service and hospitality - a TRUE love for creating experiences for our guests Proficiency in point of sale platforms Proficiency in GSuite Applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc) Flexible working hours, to include nights, weekends and holidays and support at large events What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive health and wellness benefits 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off Career growth opportunities within a growing organization Liquid and Food discounts, and monthly allotments If you’re passionate about hospitality, energized by leading multiple teams, and ready to make an impact across communities, with a growing brand we encourage you to apply.
