If you re passionate about precision, teamwork, and improving patient outcomes, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.Schedule & CompensationShift: 11:00 AM 7:00 PMPay Range: $55/hr $70/hrKey ResponsibilitiesIn the Operating RoomAssist surgeons with critical procedural tasks, including tissue handling, suturing, and maintaining visibility of the surgical fieldSupport bleeding control through appropriate techniques and toolsContribute to advanced surgical cases, including minimally invasive and robotic proceduresProvide suctioning, irrigation, and real-time procedural supportPatient Care & CoordinationReview patient histories and surgical plans to ensure readinessPartner with RNs and surgical techs to coordinate care and workflowMonitor patient status intraoperatively under physician directionParticipate in post-procedure care, including wound management and recovery transitionsSurgical Preparation & SafetyEnsure all instruments, supplies, and sterile fields are properly preparedAssist with patient positioning, prepping, and drapingMaintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and safety protocolsVerify instrument and sponge counts to support patient safety standardsQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programOne of the following required:Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA)Physician Assistant (NCCPA certified)Nurse Practitioner with surgical certificationMinimum of 2 years in a surgical or operating room environmentScrub experience preferredCore CompetenciesStrong understanding of surgical procedures, anatomy, and instrumentationExcellent technical skill, including dexterity and coordinationSound clinical judgment and ability to adapt quickly in complex situationsEffective communicator with a collaborative mindsetWork EnvironmentFast-paced surgical setting with exposure to standard operating room conditionsExtended periods of standing and use of surgical attire requiredFlexibility for on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysBenefits Package$10,000 sign-on bonus401(k) with employer matchMedical, dental, and vision benefits starting the 1st of the month after 30 days24 days of paid time off in your first yearLong-term disability and life insurance options Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.
