They are committed to developing our people and maintaining best-in-class standards across our facilities.Why join us?Competitive Compensation: Strong hourly rate + overtime opportunities (DOE)401(k) with company matchComprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life InsuranceGenerous PTO & Paid HolidaysCollaborative Work Environment: Partner across maintenance, production, and leadership teamsCareer Growth: Opportunities to step into advanced maintenance leadership rolesStable Environment: Established food manufacturing operation with consistent demandJob DetailsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESPerform repair and preventive maintenance on all production and facility equipment, including processing and packaging machineryTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions or equipment failuresOperate and maintain PLC, VFD, and HMI systems at a basic-to-intermediate levelAssist with equipment set-up, start-up, operation, shutdown, and disassemblyConduct shift handoff discussions on the production floor at the beginning and end of each shiftSpend the majority of each shift on the production floor performing PM tasks, equipment observations, and continuous improvement activities when no urgent repairs are neededEnsure all machine guarding is in place and equipment operates safely at all timesCreate notifications and input time accurately in the CMMS systemMaintain work area, facility, grounds, and machinery in a clean and organized conditionAssist with writing operating parameters and procedures as part of the maintenance teamUphold all GMP, HACCP, Allergen Control, and Food Defense policies on a daily basisReport any food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to supervision immediatelyRespond to radio calls promptly; escalate competing priorities to the Facility Supervisor or ManagerUse all required PPE appropriate to each taskPerform basic ARC and MIG welding and fabrication as neededOperate shop equipment including mill, brake, and press at a basic levelMaintain regular and predictable attendance; available for overtime as neededNeeded:High School Diploma or GED required; formal technical training in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing preferredMinimum 1-3 years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentEntry-level to intermediate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills with the ability to recognize and troubleshoot malfunctions and equipment failuresBasic familiarity with PLC, VFD, and HMI theory and troubleshootingProficiency or working knowledge of CMMS - ability to create work order notifications and log timeBasic ARC and MIG welding and fabrication skillsAbility to operate shop equipment (mill, brake, press) at a basic levelExperience with or exposure to 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles and formalized problem-solving methodsMust be able to follow all verbal and written work instructions, SOP's, GMP's, and safety policiesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 8+ hours, and work near moving mechanical parts and conveyorsAbility to work in varying conditions including cold environments, wet/humid areas, and moderate-to-loud noise levelsMust be available for overtime and 2nd shift scheduleExperience in the food industry is a plusInterested in hearing more?
