The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for managing all aspects of patient preparation, care, and supervision. This role includes performing clinical assessments, assisting physicians with documentation, and ensuring appropriate patient follow-upRole: Nurse PractitionerLocation: Avondale AZPay: Open for discussionKey Responsibilities:Assess patient health through interviews and by obtaining or updating medical historiesPerform physical examinations, provide treatment, and offer patient counselingDocument patient care services accurately in electronic medical records and departmental systemsRecognize patients requiring immediate physician attention and initiate emergency care when necessaryOrder, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studiesMonitor and follow up on imaging results and lab dataPerform therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and post-operative managementEstablish patient care requirements by building rapport with patients and caregiversProvide emotional, psychological, and educational support to patients and their familiesPromote patient independence by educating on conditions, medications, and self-care practicesEnsure quality of care by adhering to established clinical standards and protocolsMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with all relevant privacy regulationsRecord and analyze patient symptoms, histories, and clinical conditionsRequirements:Current ACLS and BLS certificationsGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programActive licensure as a Nurse PractitionerBachelor s degree (minimum requirement)Active DEA licenseValid malpractice insuranceStrong clinical decision-making skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and team collaboration abilitiesEffective organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and follow up on ongoing projectsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyFlexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work
