What you'll do Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in personal legal and admin. As a Personal Legal & Admin Expert, you'll build long-horizon tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls. Contract review: leases and offer letters against a clause-checklist with known-problematic terms seeded in Insurance policies compared against a defined coverage rubric Disputes: HOA and small-claims responses with ground-truth legal-sufficiency outcomes, security-deposit disputes against state-law references Personal admin: document-prep packets against required-field lists for name / address / passport processes Requirements Who we're looking for - 3+ years as a paralegal, legal ops professional, or attorney Expertise in one or more of the following: residential lease review, consumer insurance policy comparison, employment offer letter review, small claims or consumer disputes, estate document organization Comfortable reading and producing personal-legal artifacts: redlines, dispute letters, comparison summaries, checklist packets Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics Located in the United States Compensation $70-$90 / hr depending on domain depth and prior experience.
