This is for an evening shift.Service Deli Clerk: Ice Cream ClerkDepartment: DeliSupervisor:Deli ManagerHours: Full Time/Part TimePosition SummaryServing our guests in a cheerful and helpful manner, displaying and restocking product and assisting with preparation of deli items. A great personality, good organizational skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently are requirements for this position.Job DutiesHelps to maintain a clean and safe environment to work and shop.Effective communication with team members and supervisors to build and maintain morale.Knowledge of company policies, programs, and procedures. Promote a harassment-free work and shopping environment, and immediately reports any potential harmful situation.Continually strives to build knowledge and skills, both personally and within the department.Proper product handling, case cutting, price marking, rotation, facing, and display of merchandise.Follow through and achieve all company policies, programs, and directives.Is a team player and able to do the jobs/tasks asked by others.Maintain quality standards within the department and store.Assist guests to help improve their shopping pletes tasks efficiently and in a timely mannerProvides excellent guest service by acknowledging guests promptly and taking their orders accurately and in a friendly manner. Assists in the displaying and restocking of deli/ice cream products. Ensures shelves are filled, faced, and cleaned. Maintains the highest standards in relation to stock rotation and product freshnessAssists the department to maintain proper freshness, pricing, code dating, tare and merchandising of products in compliance with company policies and procedures. Helps maintain product and cost control in conjunction with company objectives to maximize department sales and profits and minimize losses. Experience: Minimum Age: 18 Years or olderEquipment use: Ice Cream Machine, Ice Cream Scooping, Cash Register, knives.Physical Abilities: Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, twist, and bend; repetitive use of hands and arms to push, pull, carry, lift, reach, grip, and balance; occasionally stoop, crouch, kneel, or crawl. Use of step stool and ladder. Lifting 60+ pounds and may include floor to shoulder and munication: Ability to write, speak, hear and/or understand the spoken word in order to respond promptly to team members and guests' needs.
