Operators make minor machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance and validate product quality before production runs. The role involves troubleshooting minor to moderate equipment issues, inspecting product quality to ensure specifications are met, and identifying defects while communicating findings to the production team. Operators ensure materials and tools are available at their workstation and maintain key performance indicators across product lines. Accurate tracking and entry of quality, throughput, and downtime data into systems such as SAP, MES, and Go-Canvas is required. Depending on the work area, the position may involve handling minor chemicals.
