This platform is designed to streamline complex, mission-critical workflows across capture, proposal, and contract management. We are seeking a Senior / Staff Software Engineer who is highly product-oriented and thrives on owning features end-to-end. In this role, you will build core product experiences across multiple areas of the platform, developing reusable systems, intuitive user interfaces, and scalable backend services that directly impact how government contractors operate. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and ship full-stack product features end-to-end across frontend and backend systemsSet technical direction and establish scalable patterns within your product areaEngage directly with customers to understand their workflows, gather feedback, and iterate on product improvementsBuild intuitive interfaces and APIs that enable users to understand and trust AI-powered workflowsImprove system reliability, performance, and scalability as the platform growsCollaborate within a product pod (e.g., Capture, Proposal, Contracts, Platform, Data) while maintaining awareness of the broader product ecosystem Technologies Used Languages & Backend: TypeScript, Node.jsFrontend: React (modern UI frameworks)Architecture: API-driven services, full-stack product developmentEnvironment: Cloud-based, scalable production systems (startup environment)Focus Areas: AI-powered workflows, user-centric product design, system reliability and performance Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate: Strong product mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiencesOwnership mentality with the ability to take features from concept to production independentlyComfort engaging directly with customers to understand needs and refine solutionsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environmentExperience working across multiple product areas while maintaining high-quality standardsInterest in building systems that power mission-critical workflows in the public sector Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experienceProficiency in TypeScript and Node.jsExperience building across the stack, including React-based frontends and backend APIsProven experience designing and shipping complex, production-grade product featuresExperience scaling systems in a startup environment (Series B/C preferred)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)U.S. Citizenship required; active or eligible clearance preferred Nice to Have Experience in government contracting or public-sector softwarePrevious founder or early-stage startup experience
