Contact us today - weu2019re waiting to hear from youJob ResponsibilitiesAs a Night Auditor/Overnight Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of guest service activities while providing the highest level of service possible.Your specific duties in this role will include:u2022u00a0Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.u2022u00a0Answer telephone.u2022u00a0Post charges (i.e. room, food, telephone), compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests.u2022u00a0Make and confirm reservations.u2022u00a0Monitor room availability.u2022u00a0Block rooms.u2022u00a0Program wake-up calls.u2022u00a0Handle guest mail and messages.u2022u00a0Open and close shifts making cash drops as necessary.u2022u00a0Maintain market stock and coffee area as needed.u2022u00a0Finalize transactions completed during the day and process credit card transactions.u2022u00a0Prepare and print folios for departing guests.u2022u00a0Create, print, file and transmit required reports.u2022u00a0Compile daily sales figures and complete the Daily reports.u2022u00a0Complete End of Month procedures.u2022u00a0Ensure hotel PMS system is in balance with the reservations system.u00a0 Correct any discrepancies.u2022u00a0Provide guests information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel, i.e. restaurant, lounge, room service.u2022u00a0Provide guests with directions and information regarding the local area.u2022u00a0Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance and surrounding areas.u2022u00a0Assist in checking all lobby fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance.u00a0 Report deficiencies.u2022u00a0Schedule shuttle runs for guests (hotels with shuttle only).u2022u00a0Provide safe transportation to all guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle (select service properties only).u2022u00a0Perform laundry duties as needed (Fairfield Inn only).u2022u00a0Set up continental breakfast (Fairfield Inn only).Job RequirementsWe are looking for a self-motivated Night Auditor/Overnight Front Desk Clerk with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations.
