Engineer (TWR-2025-23286):Bowhead Operations Maintenance Solutions seeks an Engineer to work onboard government vessels out of Naval Station Pearl Harbor (Honolulu, Hawaii).The Engineer will supervise and perform maintenance on all engineering, deck, fire-fighting and emergency equipment. Must have experience in routine vessel operations PLUS the following:Routine engineering operationsExperience in supervising and maintaining preventive maintenance system documentation and historyPreventative / corrective maintenance to engineering equipmentDeck repairs and modificationsShipboard safety measures (firefighting, basic first-aid and emergency shipboard systems) Primarily day work (home at night, 80 %), Monday-Friday with occasional weekend harbor workLicensed USCG Designated Duty Engineer (DDE) for Motor Vessels of 1000 horsepower with experience in routine operation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs of shipboard systems. with STCW 95 endorsement.TWIC (Transportation Worker Identity Card), current.Military experience is a PLUS.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactsStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamPhysical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
