This is an outstanding opportunity to be a member of the Site IT team and assist in redefining how site IT supports manufacturing for the future of Ford™s electrification revolution., As a member of the Plant IT team, you will be hands on assisting and launching the plant in producing this very exciting and brand-new platform of vehicles for the NA consumer market. As part of the job responsibilities, you will interface and support IT across a broad host of Infrastructure ,Applications that the plant uses to produce these exhilarating vehicles.ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...The successful candidate will be working with a local team to provide support that includes technical troubleshooting, data analysis ,problem resolution for the applications ,infrastructure on the plant floor.Will contribute on leading various efforts to ensure all responsible manufacturing applications meet Ford™s productivity goals.You will also interface daily with all business departments in the plant, from assembly and industrial controls to quality and manufacturing / logistics.Pre-production builds will begin in late 2026 with full production late 2027. During this time, you will be able to:Support, launch, deploy all new systems required for the plant, End user Support, Applications from quality to production.Support a multi-shift operation in launch mode of a greenfield manufacturing plant.Work flexible hours and rotating schedule to support business processes (days, nights and or weekends/holidays) This will be until 2028.Provide technical support (Manufacturing IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, end-user-productivity tools) to plant business customers throughout the manufacturing terface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement effortsSupport Plant Floor Systems / PDO teams in resolving incidents; Provide triage and business continuity plans, support escalations, provide hands and feet to support teams and other global teams (i.e. DBA, Server Operations, Ops Control, Network Operations)Focus on the integration / long term maintenance of applications and hardwareAssist site IT manager with managing assignments and workloadDevelop, maintain, and share, accurate support documentationSupport local network equipment in a Cisco based environmentSupport local servers across both physical and virtual environments in a Windows and Linux based ecosystem
