This is a great opportunity to play a key role in helping bring solar energy to more homes across the NYC metro area.Responsibilities:Complete electrical wiring of solar arrays and Balance of System (BOS) equipmentPerform service panel upgrades and electrical repairs as needed to pass DOB inspectionsCommission solar equipment, including and web portal registrationPrepare all job sites for electrical and ground safety, including creating secure anchor and tether pointsEnsure all tools, materials, and Bill of Materials are accurate and available for each projectTrain crew members on best practices for solar electrical installationTravel to various job sites across the NYC metro areaMaintain professional communication with customers, internal stakeholders, and teammatesDocument completed work by uploading photos and notes to the internal databaseUse internal systems (e.g., HubSpot, Slack) to communicate updates and resolve issuesQualifications:2+ years of experience in solar electrical installationStrong understanding of solar system servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenanceSolid grasp of NEC code, safety standards, permitting requirements, and electrical installation practicesAbility to bend conduit per design and NEC regulationsOSHA 10 certification (required)Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites across NYCExcellent communication, organization, and on-the-spot problem-solving skillsCompensation:$250.00 per workday or $14.00 per installed panel, whichever is the higher amount per dayPaid Time Off (PTO)Opportunities for professional development.A supportive and collaborative work environment#jh
