Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Diesel/Gas Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet of trucks, tractors, skid steers, and small engines (e.g., mowers, chainsaws). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair of both diesel and gas-powered equipment. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel and gas engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Perform routine maintenance on nursery vehicles and equipment. Maintain records of repairs, parts, and service history. Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Order parts and manage inventory as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of relevant experience in diesel/gas engine repair. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools. Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
