Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Cleans and stocks carts and rooms, and changes linen, as needed. + Cleans and sterilizes OR suite. + Assists with the transport of patients. + Decontaminates all equipment, instruments, and supplies. + Maintains use of appropriate medical equipment and supplies. + Maintains friendly and courteous interpersonal communication skills and a positive service attitude. + Works willingly and accepts assignments as given. + Attends all mandatory meetings and programs. + Participates in opportunities that enhance personal and professional growth. + Performs other duties as necessary or assigned. + Complies with the Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, regulations, and Standards of Conduct relating to the position and agrees to report any suspected violations of law or Standards of Conduct. + Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations. + Maintains a safe work environment using safe work practices, utilizing standard precautions and complying with hazardous waste procedures at all times as described in St. Anthony's Safety Manual. + Maintains the confidentiality of patient, resident, employee and organizational information. Education and/or Experience + High school diploma or GED; or working towards completion of High school diploma or GED. + One year of related experience in a health care setting preferred. Position Requirements, Certifications, Licenses, Registrations. + BCLS certification prior to hire. + Mandatory Reporter. + Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Language SkillsAbility to read, write and understand English and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, patients, families and the general public.
