Waste Management Job title: Maintenance A2 Job Description: Overall cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing and replenishment of soap, paper products, etc. _Roles & Responsibilities:_ + Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, and restores dispensers with soap and paper products. + Removes trash, relines trash containers, and cleans receptacles if required. + Dusts mops and damp mops floors in patients rooms. Vacuums, damp mops and shampoos carpeted floors including corridors. + Stocks patient room with other items such as hospital literature, towels, admission kits and other related items. Stocks floor deliveries in the proper storage areas. + Empties needle boxes; Replaces soiled draperies; Cleans patient refrigerators; Cleans rooms upon patient discharge; Dusts high surfaces (above shoulder height). + Covers for Maintenance C employees when necessary in the cleaning of offices, the day room and ancillary areas. _Requirements:_ + Education: High School Diploma / GED Qualifications .
