Lead Java Full Stack Engineer (React.js & AWS) u2013 Onsite NYC Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer with over 12 years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering enterprise-grade software solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, AWS, and SQL , and a strong ability to lead technical teams and drive innovation. Location: New York, NY u2013 Onsite (5 days/week) Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship, now or in the future. Key Responsibilities + Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, AWS, and SQL. + Manage the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. + Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for maintainable and secure code. + Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues. + Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD processes and ensure smooth deployments. + Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation. + Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant innovations into development practices. + Ensure application security and compliance with industry standards. + Communicate project progress and technical insights to stakeholders regularly. Qualifications + 12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, AWS, and SQL . + Proven track record of leading complex software projects from concept to delivery. + Strong leadership and project management skills. + Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic environments. + Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. + Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of technology trends. Salary and Other Compensation: Annual Salary : $130k u2013 $160k (based on experience and qualifications) Eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program , subject to performance and company policy.
