Job DescriptionOverviewThe Loan Servicing Representative is responsible for servicing all retail loans, providing accurate loan records and documentation, while maintaining the highest level of customer service. LSRs will be assigned to one or more of following areas as lending volumes dictate: consumer - real estate and non-real estate secured; dealer services; loan payoffs; imaging; escrow; construction; loan support; loan operations; investor accounting and/or modifications.Essential FunctionsMaximize technology tools availableBalance workstations dailyDevelop knowledge of servicing / origination systemsPartner with third party vendors and agenciesReview and send customer correspondenceEnsure compliance with Northwest's policies and practicesEnsure compliance with Federal / State regulationsPost loan transactions for all product typesComplete new loan set-up and post-closingProcess payoff quotes and payoff transactionProcess new loan fundingsInitiate automatic transfer of loan paymentsPerform maintenance on loansRespond to customer inquiriesMonitor and service escrow accountsMonitor loan collateral recordsEnsure accurate lien informationPerform accounting of force placed insuranceReview insurance certificates / policiesEnsure accurate insurance analysisPerform accurate flood insurance reviewUpdate tax records / online informationPerform accurate escrow analysisResearch and correct posting errorsEnsure total document and data integrityMonitor and follow up on document trackingPerform accurate report reconciliationMeet benchmarks on loan functions / servicingRecommend improvements to proceduresDevelop customer service levelsMeet peak volume periods with efficient, accurate outputComplete the imaging and indexing of loan documentsEnsure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulationsNavigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyWork as part of a teamWork with on-site equipmentQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred2 - 6 years customer service experience preferredlending experience preferredAdministrative Skills, WorkingAbility to work with financial data, BasicNorthwest is an equal opportunity employer.
