As an Electrical and Instrumentation Mechanic you will be responsible for the following job functions: u2022 Electrician & Instrumentation skilled trade service to provide multi-discipline capability to repair, maintain, install and make improvements on film manufacturing equipment, complex processing equipment, chemical processing equipment, building general systems (includes instrumentation, pneumatics, hydraulics, controls (PLCu2019s & distributed control systems (DCS), and a wide range of electrical components) u2022 Ability to calibrate process control instruments tight tolerances using sophisticated calibration equipment. u2022 Ability to achieve a high level of expertise to effectively troubleshoot and repair equipment, including root cause analysis. u2022 Some experience or expertise in mechanical, piping, HVAC equipment and controls. u2022 Includes maintenance of motors, breakers, starters, variable speed drives, process controls devices, heat tracing, lighting, etc. u2022 Calibrate, align and make adjustments with test equipment and measurement equipment. u2022 Installation of conduit, wiring, switches, relays, lighting, circuit breakers using power tools and hand tools u2022 Install upgrades to enhance or replace outdated control systems. u2022 Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs. u2022 Data entry and report writing including ISO documentation. u2022 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools. u2022 Ability to change based on priorities Requirements: u2022 Dependable, maintain good attendance u2022 Maintain a clean work area and operate in a safe manner at all times. u2022 Detail orientated Team Player u2022 Strong electrical and/or instrumentation training and demonstrated skills/experience u2022 Must demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills u2022 Able to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings u2022 Able to read/modify PLC programs to troubleshoot equipment problems u2022 Understanding of new electrical codes for hazardous environments (flammable liquids) u2022 Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision u2022 Excellent safety record u2013 places safety and environment as top priority in all work u2022 Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out u2022 Effective communication skills u2013 daily communications with leaders, maintenance planner, technical staff, engineering and operations as needed. u2022 Significant walking or other means of mobility. u2022 Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours). u2022 Ability to work off of ladders or scaffolding, in some awkward positions u2022 Indoor and outdoor work assignments u2022 Wear protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or governmental regulations.
