The individual in this position will provide capitalproject management and project oversight for major CAPEX approvals andexecutions at PBUS manufacturing locations. This position works closelywith Operations, Plant Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Network Strategy,Planning, Warehouse, Global Procurement, Integration, R&D, Finance, andexternal suppliers and engineering integrators. The position isresponsible for driving standardization and PBUSs strategic initiatives,owning project scope/ budget/ schedule and serving as a technicalliaison to PBUS plants.As A SC Engineering Manager you will: Effectively manage and track project spending and report financialson a regular basis, with the ability to manage multiple projects andinitiatives simultaneously. Lead, develop and mentor people and fostering a culture ofcollaboration and accountability. Strong team-building skills requiredto manage and lead direct reports as well as cross-functional teams at acorporate and/or plant location. Implement accountability and expectations with external engineeringintegrators. Understand plant downtime systems and able to track project start upcurves. Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist teams tosolve operational pensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between$106,400 - $178,100. Project management engineering experience, including individual CAPEXproject expenditure of $1-3MM. Solid understanding of manufacturing plant operations. Strong people leadership skills for future direct reports. Experience with plant operations, packaging, processing, utilities,project management, as well as understanding of TPM and LSS processes. Able to travel; individual can expect to travel up to 30-50% of thetime to facilitate and manage multiple plant projects. This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work inthe United States. Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of project engineering experience, with a focus onengineering project management. New equipment installation and start-up, high-speed packagingexperience, and process and utilities engineering experience. Project Management/ PMP certification preferred. CPG experience, preferably in a beverages facility.Skills & Competencies: Familiarity with basics of finance, product cost accounting andstatistical process control. Understanding of competitive industry technology available forfood/beverage packaging, utilities and processing. Excellent communication, presentation and influential leadershipskills with an ability to negotiate with vendors, contractors andconsultants as well as aligning with internal stakeholders. Work well with cross functional leadership teams to properlycommunicate projects scope and deliverables. Self-motivated, results and action oriented. Able to make independentand sound decisions. Experience with Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, CADskills and ability to utilize MS Project and other project trackingsoftware systems.This is a hybrid position, that can be based out of our offices inChicago, IL, Plano, TX, Purchase, NY or Work from a PBUS plant.
