Summary: The Director of Corporate Real Estate leads strategy, planning, and execution of real estate activities across the Rush University System for Health. This position oversees leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and site development in support of the systemu2019s clinical, academic, research, and administrative needs. The role focuses on real estate administration and predevelopment, including site selection, market analysis, lease/purchase negotiation, entitlement strategy, and coordination with external brokers, counsel, and development partners. The Director works closely with internal teams across Planning, Design & Construction, Facilities, Strategy, Legal, and Finance to ensure alignment between capital deployment and system priorities. The role also manages a team responsible for lease administration, vendor management, and property operations for Rush-controlled properties. Success in this role will be measured by real estate portfolio performance (cost per SF, utilization rate), timely execution of transactions, internal customer satisfaction, and achievement of long-term location strategy goals.
