OverviewThe Assistant Project Manager assists with the planning, directing, and coordinating of activities for designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Assists in reviewing project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project. Will be responsible for contract administration, billing, submittal processing, bid preparation, and filing, among other duties, as the project may require. Extensive experience in Word Processing, using Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, and Database software is essential for this position. Supervisory experience is preferred. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment.
