Job Description

As a critical member of the Express team, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all marketing efforts for our 3 Express Employment Professionals and Specialized Recruiting Group locations. This role is designed to focus on driving in quality applicants and new clients by utilizing the marketing and social media tools, along with local networking, community events, job fairs, recruitment, e-mail marketing, website updates and online ads. The Marketing Coordinator is expected to provide a high level of customer service to recruiting sources and potential associates. This role will support the needs of the sales team, inside team and leadership to ensure a consistent brand message across all mediums. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Operations and Marketing Manager and will work alongside them to complete all marketing efforts. Responsibilities: Digital Marketing and Communications: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for all digital/online marketing activities with a goal to increase applicant flow for our offices. This includes Website Management, Social Media, Email Marketing, Online Job Boards, and Online Reviews. Recruiting & Customer Service: The Marketing Coordinator will assist our inside team and front office with a variety of recruiting tasks, including posting jobs, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding candidates and administrative and phone support. Media & Community Relations: The Marketing Coordinator will utilize the relationships with our media partners to increase brand awareness in the community for south central Indiana by creating and sending print advertisements, press releases and blogs. Event Marketing: The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate events alongside the Marketing Manager for our internal office staff, associates, prospects, clients and members in the community. These types of events could include Job Fairs, Trainings & Webinars, Office Events, and Client/Prospect Drop Offs. Brand Awareness: The Marketing Coordinator will utilize several tools and marketing campaigns to increase and maintain a high level of brand awareness in our community. These campaigns include Employee of the Month/Year, Associate Letters & Calls, Neighborhood Marketing, Recruiting Sources/Professional Organizations, Express Serves (our philanthropic team) and our Referral Program. Key Qualifications: Exceptional customer service skills: The candidate must have demonstrated appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of business and professional settings. Teamwork/Collaboration: The candidate must possess demonstrated skills and abilities in collaborative efforts with experience in team/project oriented activities. Technology Skills: The candidate must have a basic proficiency in Microsoft programs. Candidate should also have experience with Social Media sites like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter along with good working knowledge of search engines and SEO techniques. Ideally, the candidate would have experience creating and managing a website. Candidate needs to have experience designing basic flyers using in house or stock graphics utilizing software like Canva and video editing software. Email marketing software experience is also preferred. Flexibility: The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and projects and work through the road blocks to achieve successful outcomes and demonstrate openness to new ideas and approaches.
