We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving production processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality standards. This position is based in the oceanside community of Torrance, CA.ResponsibilitiesConduct time and motion studies to establish labour standards and improve resource utilizationMonitor and analyze production data, using statistical tools to identify trends and drive fact-based decision makingAnalyze inventory levels and compare demand to optimize inventory managementDesign and implement optimized systems, layouts, and processes to enhance productivity and reduce wasteCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement lean manufacturing and other continuous improvement methodsDevelop and maintain automated dashboards to ensure KPIs are accurate and adequate for decision making Partner with the Manufacturing Engineer team to:Analyze existing production processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvementDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in operationsEvaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and automation solutions to improve operations; calculate and provide ROI data to facilitate decision makingLead or participate in project management initiatives, including planning, execution, and monitoring of process improvement projects QualificationsMust Have A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Skills and experience with business intelligence and data analysis tools such as Power BI and TableauStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with process simulation softwareAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across the organization Nice to HaveExperience with Value Stream MappingExperience with 3P workshops (Production Preparation Process) We are an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/veterans.Click on the links below to learn more about Equal Employment Opportunity.EEO Know Your RightsEEO Employee RightsEEO Pay TransparencyApplicants that require accommodation in the job application process may contact Human Resources for assistance at (310) 782 -1076 ext: 134We are an E-verify participating employer. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The Company reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range or offer other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state or federal law.
