Description Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their law firm in Buckhead Atlanta, GA. This role will support attorneys in managing complex litigation cases, particularly within the areas of employment and business law. This role involves working on cases in both federal and state courts, with a strong emphasis on federal court litigation. If you have a passion for legal research, document drafting, and trial preparation, we encourage you to apply. u2022 Conduct research and analyze legal issues related to employment and business litigation. u2022 Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, letters, and other legal documents with precision. u2022 Manage the discovery process, including document review, production, and preparation for depositions. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, including creating visual aids, models, and mockups. u2022 Assist in handling cases involving employment discrimination, civil rights, and commercial disputes. u2022 Maintain and organize case files using case management software to ensure accessibility and accuracy. u2022 Coordinate filings and submissions in federal courts, adhering to court-specific requirements. u2022 Provide support in preparing for hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations. u2022 Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and documentation. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal. u2022 Certification as a Paralegal (e.g., Paralegal Certificate or Certified Paralegal). u2022 Strong knowledge of federal court procedures and experience with federal employment law. u2022 Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence. u2022 Familiarity with case management software and document management systems. u2022 Expertise in handling employment law cases, including discrimination and EEOC matters. u2022 Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex cases effectively. u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with attorneys, clients, and external parties.
