About this roleFDF Sr. Director Operations, Job Summary:We are looking for a seasoned, dedicated, and analytical Sr. Director of Operations to join Finishing, Dispensing and Filtration Leadership team. As Vice President of Operations, various activities and responsibilities will be taken on to further the Operations organization and company goals. This role is responsible for operation excellence and profitable growth and EBITDA enhancement efforts. He/she will need in-depth knowledge of finance, operational strategies and continuous improvement. The Sr Director of Operations will strategize, develop, and implement plans to advance FDF strategies corporate initiatives and cost-improvement efforts.The Sr. Director of Operations Reports to Bob Wilson, President of the Finishing, Dispensing and Filtration Segment.Reporting to the SR. DIRECTOR of Operations are the Region Operation Sr. Managers, Manager of Continuous Improvement, Director of Supply Chain and ProcurementWhat You will do...Operations Leadership & Management:Embodies a leadership role by managing operation activities, budgeting, goals, and providing other administrative operation activities to achieve a profitable outcomeWork through and develop your leadership team. Build the OLT into a change management force for our organization. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluationsto your team and their key future leadersCollaborates with other FDF leaders, corporate functions especially corporate operations, sales managers, and other divisions and departments while supplying expertise and guidance on operations to achieve set objectivesWork hand-in-hand with Vice President of Sales to executive plans and deliver profitable growthHandles department onboarding, discipline, and termination of employees in accordance with company policyOperational Activities:Oversees One FDF, 80/20 operations, pricing improvement and cost reduction initiativesTranslate corporate initiative to adjust to the FDF business and acquire support for corporate for our effortsEstablishes and implements operation-related policies, practices, and security measuresMonitors metrics using KPI and leverages Data Drive Operational Excellence (DDOE) to define opportunities for improvements and effectivenessProcess Management:Integrates a professional objective by inaugurating goals and responsibilities that align with company values and cultureWorks to drive innovation and continual improvement in all functional areasMaintains knowledge of all phases of operations and provides training to develop and coordinate company business plansLeads efforts to develop better reporting tools for the FDF segmentPerforms other assignments and responsibilities as requiredWhat You'll Need...Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or industry-related field required; MBA a plus.(15) + years of industry-related experience especially in operations leadership and continuous improvement(5) + years of site management requiredSkills:Extensive knowledge in continuous improvement and operations methodology.
