Well established company with room for growth Wide variety of tasks and projects In-house training Health and dental benefits after probation Closed between Christmas and New Years Great hours of work - 6:00am - 2:30pm (No rush hour traffic) Required skills and qualifications: Prioritize safety in the workplace Ability to read and interpret drawings, including architectural plans and shop drawings Experience with machine operation and setup (saws, milling machines, drill presses, etc.) Proficient in using measuring tools (imperial and metric) such as calipers, tapes, and levels Strong work history and reliability Positive attitude and willingness to learn Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly Duties may include but are not limited to: Interpret blueprints and work orders to determine packaging requirements Conduct quality checks to ensure packaging meets standards Accurately complete shipping documentation, including labels and manifests Prioritize tasks to meet shipping deadlines and adjust plans as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Collaborate with the team to improve packaging processes and reduce waste Monitor packaging supplies and report any issues Assemble and pack containers and prepare shipping information Prepare machinery for woodwork manufacturing Work flexibly in Glass Shop and Wood Assembly areas Work independently and collaboratively to meet production goals Take initiative and work with minimal supervision Other duties as assigned The wage for this position is $19.60 per hour.
