Together.SummaryThe AV Solution Engineer serves as the strategic technical bridge between physical installation teams, network engineering, and end-user support. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with vendor relationship management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless video collaboration experiences.LocationThis position can sit in any of our U.S. offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.Responsibilities Design and implement standardized AV solutions across multiple office locations. Lead technical evaluation of emerging technologies including AI-powered meeting enhancement and immersive collaboration tools. Develop AV configuration standards and deployment playbooks for Teams, Zoom, Cisco, and in-room technologies. Create integration plans bridging traditional AV hardware with cloud-based collaboration platforms. Serve as primary technical liaison with AV integration partners (AVISPL, Yorktel) and equipment vendors. Manage vendor relationships from design through installation, testing, and maintenance. Coordinate installations ensuring adherence to firm standards and minimizing business disruption. Provide technical input on budget planning and vendor negotiations. Partner with Unified Communications team on network infrastructure and system integration. Work with Local Support teams to develop troubleshooting procedures and training materials. Collaborate with enterprise teams to align AV solutions with technology initiatives and security requirements. Implement AI-driven analytics to optimize room utilization and predict maintenance needs. Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex AV issues across all office locations. Maintain comprehensive oversight of AV assets including real-time room status monitoring, defect management, upgrade planning, and systematic problem resolution. Lead post-incident reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Travel to office locations as required for installations, troubleshooting, and stakeholder meetings.Desired SkillsDeep knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex); proficiency with AV equipment from major manufacturers (Cisco, ClearOne, Crestron, Extron); strong understanding of network protocols, QoS, and bandwidth management for video applications; and experience with cloud-based collaboration tools and hybrid meeting technologies. Preferred experience with AI/ML applications in collaboration technologies; background in professional services or legal technology environment; and scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python).Proven ability to work across multiple teams with varying technical backgrounds and priorities. Excellent project management and vendor relationship management skills.
