CHINESE INFORMATION AND SERVICE CENTER seeks a ESL/NATURALIZATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR in Seattle, WA to develop and update English as a Second Language (ESL) and naturalization curriculums to meet the skill levels and goals of our ELL program participants; plan, coordinate, and implement naturalization and ESL classes and workshops; teach classes, including English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for our ESL and naturalization programs and adapt different teaching methods and strategies to accommodate individual participants' learning style, ability, strengths, and weaknesses; monitor and assess participants' performances and develop education plans to help participants in reaching their learning goals; maintain a safe and positive environment to facilitate learning and promote growth and development of participants; monitor and track program participants' academic progress, social challenges, and family issues, and refer cases to social worker for case management and counseling when necessary; recruit, train, schedule, and supervise program support staff and volunteers for ESL and ELL classes, ESL naturalization classes, mock interviews, and related activities; coordinate tasks among volunteers and program staffs, model teaching skills, conduct regular meetings to maintain communication, provide teacher support and clarification of program policy, and set and meet program goals; manage program evaluation data, including but not limited to program attendance, participants' performance, and individual program assessment.Minimum Requirements: Bachelors in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), education, or related field of study AND 24 months experience as ESL teacher, tutor, or related work experience working with students learning English as a second language.u00a0Wage Offered: $55,182 to $70,000 per year. u00a0Benefits: Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life); Paid Holidays, Sick Leave, Vacation; FSA, and 401K.Send Resumes to Kevin Chan, Chinese Information and Service Center, 611 South Lane Street, Seattle, WAu00a0 98104.u00a0
