As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for working with a variety of customers in the hospitality industry and other commercial businesses. By providing quality services and identifying solutions to pest problems you'll help our customers to protect their brand and support their success. Our 5-week comprehensive PAID TRAINING program is designed to provide the tools and resources for you to be one of the best in your field - no prior experience required Once in an established route, this role offers flexible scheduling and ownership of the customer accounts you service.What You Will Do:Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers and partner with them on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needsMaintain expertise in Ecolab's product/service offerings and industry conditions, to enhance service and sales of pest prevention/elimination solutionsUse handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural, sanitation and pest issuesPosition Details:This is a field-based position and may require travel in and around the surrounding areas:Columbus, OHChillicothe, OHPortsmouth, OHWilmington, OHWork week and shift:Sunday - Thursday; Overnight shift (9pm-5am); Full-timeDuring your training program, you will be required to travel to Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota for 1 of the 5 weeks. Travel typically takes place during week 3 and the remaining weeks will be in-field training. Ecolab will arrange and pay for your travel and certain travel related expenses.
