Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to oversee and optimize the accounts payable processes for our organization. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who excels in managing invoice coding, payment procedures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: u2022 Supervise and manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. u2022 Oversee invoice coding processes to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies. u2022 Coordinate and execute check runs, ensuring all payments are processed on schedule. u2022 Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, including verification and troubleshooting. u2022 Develop and implement improvements to accounts payable procedures to enhance efficiency. u2022 Monitor and reconcile accounts payable records to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to address payment-related inquiries and issues. u2022 Prepare regular reports on accounts payable activities and performance metrics for management review. u2022 Train and mentor team members to ensure adherence to best practices and foster growth. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable management or supervision. u2022 Strong knowledge of invoice coding and payment processing procedures. u2022 Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable software and financial systems. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. u2022 Leadership capabilities to guide and develop a team.
