Manpower is hiring a 1st shift welders for one of our top clients in North Milwaukee (73rd & Calumet). Pay based on experience $19-$22/ hour. What's in it for you?: + 1st shift Monday - Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm with OT on Fridays Positions Available + temp to hire position + Weekly pay + Great opportunity with a great company Responsibilities: + Performs set-up and welding on a variety of weldments and structures following written u201cjob instructionsu201d or standardized methods and procedures utilizing fixtures and jigs. + Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high quality weldments and blades for the companyu2019s lines of commercial snow and ice control products. + Perform designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 6S activities, and maintains safety standards. + Maintains good housekeeping and 6S. + Produce quality welded components to daily production requirements. Requirements: + At least 3 years of welding experience + Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Welding Technology Degree or Welding Technical Diploma desirable. + Strong basic math skills and ability to read blueprints are required. + Robotic welding experience is highly desirable.
