Job Description u2022u2003Develop and maintain company-wide safety policies, procedures, and programs specific to masonry operations. u2022u2003Conduct and document regular safety inspections of job sites, scaffolding, equipment, and facilities using Raken. u2022u2003Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions, Complete all required documentation and follow-up. u2022u2003Lead weekly toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings for field personnel. u2022u2003Ensure safety adherence or lack thereof is well documented. u2022u2003Provide safety training for new hires and conduct ongoing training for existing employees on general construction and masonry-specific hazards. u2022u2003Maintain records of employee training certifications and facilitate renewals. u2022u2003Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, state laws, and industry standards relevant to masonry construction. u2022u2003Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and reporting systems. u2022u2003Coordinate with project managers, superintendents and foremen to integrate safety protocols into project planning. u2022u2003Evaluate and recommend safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE). u2022u2003Prepare all project specific safety submittals, including but not limited to JHAs, emergency plans, silica exposure plans, fall protection plan, etc. u2022u2003Keep current on industry safety trends, regulations, and best practices.
