What You’ll Do as a Team LeaderAs aTeam Leaderat Lewis Services, you’ll:Oversee daily production requirements of assigned crewsSupport Crew Leaders in training, coaching, and performance managementEnsure adherence to Lewis and customer policiesHandle customer and property owner complaints professionallyInspect completed work for quality and complianceAssist in hiring, disciplinary actions, and employee relationsInterpret tree trimming, removal, and spraying ordersPlan and lay out daily crew workEnforce safe practices and recognize jobsite hazardsObtain permissions from property owners and communicate work plansMaintain records and reports related to crew operationsSupport equipment maintenance and tool deliveryAssist in bidding work and managing crew costsMaintain communication with customers, property owners, and utility repsUphold Lewis Tree Service’s mission and valuesPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring:Minimum 2 years as a Crew LeaderMinimum 2 years Climbing experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional demeanor and appearanceWillingness to travel frequently, including overnight staysComputer literacy (Microsoft Office)Herbicide Applicator Certification, ISA Certification (or ability to obtain)Knowledge of tree species, pruning techniques, and ANSI standardsCompletion of Crew Leader Technical Knowledge CertificationUnderstanding of electrical circuits and circuit mapsValid driver’s license, CDL, and medical certificationCPR and First Aid certification (provided by Lewis)Compliance with all applicable laws and company policiesPhysical DemandsAbility to:Lift/carry and push/pull (Rarely)Sit and drive (Frequently)Stand and walk (Occasionally)Climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, perform repetitive movements (Rarely)Tree ascend/descend (Never)Comments:Physical demands may vary between administrative duties and field support.Environmental Conditions:Frequently- Outdoor workOccasionally- Noise levels, temperature extremesRarely- Hazardous materials, air quality issuesNever- Confined spacesComments:Conditions vary by region.
