The Municipality of Anchorage is not able to provide any type of sponsorship, including Student Visas and Employment Visas, under any circumstances.Example of Duties, , Under general direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer, oversee, manage, plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the Employment Services Division which includes Employment, Classification, and Records. Provide employment, classification, and records support services to all Municipal departments. Oversee the proper resolution of complaints and/or grievances and appropriate corrective actions. Interpret policy intent and/or acceptable management practices to ensure fair and consistent application of policies. Perform fact finding and conduct internal investigations and prepare reports of findings. Perform full range of management activities such as budget administration, establishing goals and objectives and development of policies and procedures. Other related duties as assigned.
