WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. Consultant, Enclosures for our Los Angeles, California office. Come join us and help shape the future Work will include building enclosure commissioning, new building, restoration, and repair design of roofing and vertical building enclosures, building enclosure design consulting, including design detailing and specification review and construction phase consulting services, forensic investigation, condition assessment, and building science analysis. Candidate will be expected to manage teams of multiple staff on multiple projects at the same time, offer technical guidance, coordinate with the appropriate technical leads for the project and be the primary point of contact for the client. Duties and Responsibilities: u2022 Providing building enclosure commissioning and consulting services u2022 Assisting project teams with completing building enclosure design reviews u2022 Reviewing fenestration, vertical facade, roofing systems, and waterproofing u2022 Assist with performing technical reviews u2022 Provide support in completing on-site forensic investigations and functional performance testing of enclosure systems u2022 Performing on site construction observation Talent is the essence of meeting our clientu2019s objectives, goals and challenges. Minimum Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline u2022 5-7 years of experience in Building Enclosures / Construction u2022 Experience in quality control and management u2022 Knowledge in design and construction of exterior building components including fenestration, facade, roofing, and waterproofing materials u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills u2022 Willingness to travel u2022 Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSPu2019s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. u2022 Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPu2019s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $74,900 - $125,000 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicantu2019s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
